Spring Data: ArangoDB: Find all the documents in a collection

‘findAll’ method is used to get all the documents from a collection.

 

Example

Iterable<Employee> savedEmps = employeeRepo.findAll();

for (Employee emp : savedEmps) {
  System.out.println(emp);
}

 

Step 1: Create new maven project ‘find-all-demo’.

 

Step 2: Update pom.xml with maven dependencies.

Step 3: Define entity class.

 

Employee.java

Step 4: Define Repository interface.

Step 5: Define Arango configuration class.

import com.arangodb.springframework.config.ArangoConfiguration;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.Configuration;

public class ArangoConfig implements ArangoConfiguration {

  @Override
  public ArangoDB.Builder arango() {
    return new ArangoDB.Builder().host("localhost", 8529).user("root").password("tiger");

    return "abc_org";
  }
}


Step 6: Define main application class.

Total project structure looks like below.




Run App.java, you will see below messages in console.

Employee [key=71053, arangoId=employees/71053, id=1, firstName=Ram, lastName=Gurram]
Employee [key=71054, arangoId=employees/71054, id=2, firstName=Gopi, lastName=Battu]
Employee [key=71055, arangoId=employees/71055, id=3, firstName=Sailu, lastName=Ptr]
