A scatter plot is a chart used to show the relationship between two numerical variables. It displays data as individual dots on a graph:
One variable is placed on the X-axis (horizontal axis)
Another variable is placed on the Y-axis (vertical axis)
Each dot represents a single record or observation in the dataset.
For example:
· X-axis: Product Stock Quantity
· Y-axis: Product Price
Every product becomes one point on the chart.
Example: Website Load Time vs User Satisfaction
Imagine you own several websites and want to understand, "Does slower website speed reduce user satisfaction?". A scatter plot is perfect for answering this question.
