Creating a Pie Chart in Apache Superset Using Custom Dataset

  

In this tutorial, we’ll create a pie chart to visualize how total order value is distributed across users.

 

I am using below kind of dataset to build Pie Chart.

Follow below step-by-step procedure to build Pie Chart.

 

Step 1: Create new Chart.

 

Navigate to Chart listing page -> (+ Chart) button to create new chart.

 


Select the dataset as ‘User Order Spend Summary’, and Pie Chart click on ‘Create new chart’ button.

 

It takes you to the Pie Chart configuration page.

 


Drag and drop user_name column to the Dimensions.

 

Drag and drop final_amount column to Metric section and set the aggregate as SUM.

 

Click on Save button.

 

Click on ‘Create chart’ button.

 

It create Pie chart like below.
