HQL : NamedQueries : Write multiple named queries for entity


You can write any number of named queries for an entity by placing them in “@NamedQueries” annotation.

  @NamedQuery(name="Employee.getByID", query="from employee_details where id = ?"),
  @NamedQuery(name="Employee.getByFirstName", query="from employee_details where firstName = ?"),
  @NamedQuery(name="Employee.getByLastName", query="from employee_details where lastName = ?")
})
public class Employee {

} 
 
Employee class has 3 named queries “Employee.getByID”, “Employee.getByFirstName”, “Employee.getByLastName”.
