Working with Transactions

A Transaction is a unit of action that execute a task. Each function in SAP ERP has an SAP transaction code associated with it. A transaction code (or t-code) consists of letters, numbers, or both, and is entered in the command field at the top of the SAP screen.

For example, the transaction code ‘SE38’ is used to open ‘ABAP Editor’.
