Types of Transactions

Transactions are divided into two categories.

a.   Data Entry Transactions

b.   Report Transactions

Data Entry transactions

Data Entry transactions are used to create/update the records.

For Ex:

The transaction ‘VA22’ is used to change the sales quotation.

Report Transactions

Report transactions are used to generate reports form the database.

For Ex:

VA25 is used to enquire list of quotations.
