How to Read Request Body as Input Stream in Javalin?

Context.bodyInputStream() method read the request body as input stream.

Example

InputStream inputStream = ctx.bodyInputStream();

 

Find the below working application.

 

Step 1: Create new maven project ‘javalin-request-body-as-input-stream’.

 

Step 2: Update pom.xml with maven dependencies.

Step 3: Define JsonUtil class.

Build the project

Navigate to the folder, where pom.xml is located, execute the command ‘mvn package’. You can see ‘javalin-request-body-as-input-stream-1.0.0-jar-with-dependencies.jar’ file is located in the target folder.

Run the application

Execute below command to run the application.
