How can you customize
the nodes of a graph?
Below step-by-step procedure explains how can you
customize the nodes of a graph.
Step 1: Open the
graph into Gephi workspace.
Step 2: Select
‘Edit node attributes’ button.
Step 3: Click on
any node that you want to customize.
When you click on a node, it highlights all the nodes,
that are directly connected to this node and Edit window will be opened at the left
side of the workspace.
You can change the properties of a node in the Edit
window. For example, I updated the size as 50 and set label color to red. The
graph is changed like below.
How can you adjust
the background color of a graph?
Below step-by-step procedure explain how can you change
the background color of a graph.
Step 1: Open the
graph in Gephi workspace.
Step 2: At the
left-bottom of the graph window, you can able to see bulb icon, it is used to
change the background color of a graph window.
Step 3: Right
click on the balloon icon.
It opens ‘Choose a Color’ window.
Select any color that you want and press OK button.
Now the graph color will be changed to the color that you
selected.
How to enable node labels?
You can enable/disable (toggle) node labels using the ‘T’
button at the bottom of the graph window.
When I click on ‘T’ button, it shows the node labels.
How to increase edge
weight?
At the bottom of the graph window, there is a slider to
increase the edge weight of the graph.
How to increase font
size?
At the bottom of the graph window, you can see a slider
to increase the font size.
How to remove the
edges?
You can remove the edges, by clicking on ‘Show Edges’
button.
When I clicked on ‘Show Edges’ button, the edges are
removed, and the graph is rendered like below.
To display the edges on screen, re click on ‘Show Edges’
button.
