Hive: isnull: Return true when the value of column is null, else false

Signature

isnull(column)

 

Return true if the value of column is null, else false.

 

Example
SELECT * FROM emp WHERE isnull(gender_age.age);

 

Above statement select all the employees whose age is not set.
