NGINX: Error and Access log

All request that come to NGINX are logged in access log.

Anything that is failed is logged to error log.

        

How to get the log files location to nginx server?

Open terminal and execute the command ‘nginx -V’.

When you look at 'configure arguments' section, you can see the error and http log files.

--error-log-path=/usr/local/var/log/nginx/error.log

--http-log-path=/usr/local/var/log/nginx/access.log
