Processing is a widely-used graphics programming language, it is there since 2001. Processing is a software sketch book, where you can draw the things. It bridges the gap between artists and programmers.

I am going to use processing 3 libraries throughout this tutorial.

What are you going to learn in this tutorial?
2D, 3D graphics programming, audio, video visualization, basic games etc.,

Is processing software open source?
Yes

Do I need Java run time to use processing software?
Yes, processing is built on top of Java, you require Java run time to work with processing software. But with processing 3, java run time is shipped along with the software. You no need to install Java separately.

Where can I get all the available processing libraries?
