Java: Programmatically import certificate to cacerts file

In this post, I am going to explain how to import the certificate into cacerts file.

I am using the program from ‘https://confluence.atlassian.com/download/attachments/180292346/InstallCert.java?version=1&modificationDate=1315453596921’

InstallCert.java
import java.io.BufferedReader;

}

Step 1: Compile InstallCert.java

Step 2: Run InstallCert.java application by passing the server url.
Example
java InstallCert livspace.com password123

First argument is the server url.
Second argument is the password to store the certificate into cacerts.
