JMeter Pre-processor Elements

A pre-processor executes before the sampler request sent to server. These are normally used to modify the settings of sampler request, before it runs.

JMeter provides following pre processor elements.

HTML Link Parser

HTTP URL Re-writing Modifier

HTML Parameter Mask (DEPRECATED)

User Parameters

BeanShell PreProcessor

BSF PreProcessor

JSR223 PreProcessor

JDBC PreProcessor

RegEx User Parameters

How to add pre-processor elements

You can add a pre-processor element to Test Plan, Thread Group, Sampler, Controller.

Right click on Test plan (or) Thread Group (or) sampler (or) Logic controller -> Add -> Pre Processors -> Select the pre-processor element you want.
