JMeter Add timers

By default JMeter sends request to the server without any delay.  By using Timers, you can add delay to the samplers. If more than one timer are added to a thread group, then JMeter will pause between to requests, for the sum of the timers applicable for this sampler.

Constant Timer

Gaussian Random Timer

Uniform Random Timer

Constant Throughput Timer

Synchronizing Timer

BeanShell Timer

BSF Timer

JSR223 Timer

Poisson Random Timer

How to add a timer

You can add a timer to Test Plan, Thread Group, Sampler, Controller.

Right click on Test plan (or) Thread Group (or) sampler (or) Logic controller -> Add -> TImer -> Select the timer you want.
