Install R Studio for Mac

RStudio is free and open source, and works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. RStudion IDE is a powerful and productive user interface for R.

Prerequisite

R must be installed, before you install R Studio

Step 1: Go to http://www.rstudio.com download “RStudio on your desktop”.

Step 2: After downloading R Studio, click on the installer.

Step 3: Drag RStudio icon to Applications folder.

Goto Launchpad and click on RStudio icon.
